Voice traffic over the Internet (VOIP) and on private networks is now well in the mainstream. Previous methods to provide VoIP to customers, however, required them to connect via a broadband Internet access point.

As small as a credit card size, iFoneline Call Router (95mm x 58mm x 15mm) is a "plug'n'play" device which connects
directly to your phone.

No internet service is required. No Ethernet connections. No special VoIP telephone. No special software running on your computer. In fact, no computer either. Just a landline and a
plain old phone.

There is no software to install, nothing to configure. Once iFoneline Call Router is hooked up to your phone, you dial
your telephone calls the way you normally would. That's it. It's that simple.

During power outages, if electricity fails and you don't have
any back up power, VoIP calls via your computer or broadband phone connection will be useless. Because landlines use
separate circuits for phone power provided by your telephone company, iFoneline Call Router draws power solely from the phone line, so it just keeps working.

The iFoneline Call Router, once plugged into a phone line, routes all mobile, long-distance and international calls onto a low cost, high quality, managed VoIP network that iFoneline has set up and interconnected with major carriers worldwide.

Once a call is on iFoneline's network, it's VoIP all the way to the end. iFoneline Call Router re-routes the call before it leaves your home, by-passing your traditional telephone service provider. The call is then converted back to analogue at the nearest station to the destination. The phone of the party you are calling rings and the call proceeds like any other long distance conversation. Some call it "VoIP over Dial-Up". Essentially, iFoneline Call Router is PSTN-to-VoIP-to-PSTN whereas most VoIP solutions is VoIP-to-PSTN.

As you can see from the diagram below, simply plug one end
of the standard phone cable to the left port of the box and the
other end to the wall socket, or just unplug your current cable
at the phone's end and plug into the left port. Then, plug the provided cable to the right port of the box and the other end to
the phone, you're ready to make calls.
